Congratulations!!

To all the winners of the SAG Awards, specially James Earl Jones, who received a special tribute for his hard work and dedication to his career and helping new generations to be literate!!!!

Also to Erika, who had her 21st birthday this weekend. I went up to Maryville this weekend to visit my sister and my friends. We got to celebrate Erika's birthday, enjoy a margarita at La Bonita Mexican restaurant, and chill with twin2!

Here is a picture of all who came to eat dinner at LaBo:

Lastly to my boyfriend, Shawnn, who is officially a fire fighter! He started his first 24 hour shift today.

Bust out some Zumba!!!

Well yesterday i had my first Zumba class!!! I was nervous but so pumped. I recently joined this new gym and discovered that they have all kinds of classes and last night i tried the Zumba one. Man the instructor made us shake!!!! She was this young hispanic chick. She was very animated and told us to not be shy. I followed her advice and I loved the class!!! We did alot of hip movements, leg lifts, and legs. The instructor had some cool music too, mixture of spanish reggeton, merengue, salsa and even hip pop. The next class im going to start is Kickboxing!! YEAY! i'm gonna be buff in no time :-).

Indoor soccer game update, we have been winning for the past three weeks. I have been having a scoring streak too! Monday night's game was at 11:15 pm, it was a late night but we played hard and won 3-1!!!! Now the issue was me getting up at 7am the next day to go to work. Tonight's game i'm going to miss because my boyfriend is graduating from the fire academy, i'm so proud! Both events are around the same time and I can't make it. My friend Amy, who also plays with me, will be missing it too because her brother is in the academy as well and we both will be at the ceremony. I'll let you know how the game ends!

On a different note, one goal of mine for the blog is to start adding more widgets and make it more interesting and interactive. So I will start adding pictures soon so you can share with me my stories!!

Peace out

Feliz New Year!

You know most people during the beggining of a new year are setting resolutions, but to tell you the truth i don't think they work. I think that if you really want to change your life or start something new, its a commitment that you make to change your way of life to include or take out certain aspects of it. Resolutions usually don't work because people can't wait till their done, so their mind acts like if it was an event instead of a different way of life.

I say don't tell anyone what you plan to do, just start doing it. Start including it as part of your daily, weekly, or monthly tasks and sooner than you think you will realize its just the thing you do. It has no experation date.

I also wanted to add to the list of my "Why remember 2008" post, because several things happen that will just make that year an unforgtable one.

20. One of my best friends moved back to Serbia for several months.

21. Unfortunately hundreds of people are suffering from the war in Gaza.

22. I got a real J-O-B !!!!

Did you end the year in a good note??
